Amuse Bouche is a small lingerie label, handmade with love. Designer Marie, is based in Glasgow and makes luxurious little delights using carefully sourced vintage and ethical trims. All items are unique or limited edition and inspired by the Art Nouveau era.
I just received images from Amuse Bouche‘s new collection and had to share right away! As with previous collections the attention to detail is impeccable. However this new collection really has a strong flavour of drama throughout – a true indication of Marie’s background in theatre design. Sheer delicate knickers are brought to life with dramatic floral motifs and big bows. Feathers and ruffles fit for a stage siren, without seeming tacky or contrived.

My absolute favourite set is the one above – a soft cream palette with a shock of black.
Marie began her journey into lingerie design providing a bespoke bridal lingerie service for friends, it is no surprise therefore that the new collection also includes some beautiful bridal wear. Although the black accents have been removed, the large corsage style floral motifs continue the dramatic theme and become a perfect option for the not so blushing bride.
