Else Lingerie is a luxury intimates label based in Istanbul and led by designer Ela Onur. By combining the best quality fabrics, perfect fit and glamorous designs, ELSE strive to make a woman feel glamorous, confident, and comfortable whilst wearing a special set of lingerie. The secret behind the high quality is that each item is hand-crafted and created as if they are tailor made at ELSE’s own atelier in Istanbul.
The continuous Signature range is made with 100% silk combined with Chantilly laces, creating a somewhat seductive and elegant look.
The SS13 collection has some beautiful pieces such as this ‘Lace Tattoo’ body which is still elegant and chic but very wearable and suitable for everyday wear as well as special occasions.
ELSE also offer a more youthful diffusion line named, Something ELSE, which until now I haven’t featured any pieces from. On my latest trip to The Lingerie Collective trade show I was blown away by the most recent items in the SS13 diffusion collection, namely this fishnet suspender dress which layers a fine black fishnet over a delicate sheer nude fabric. Personally I probably prefer the diffusion line to the main collections as it appears far more directional and definitely has a younger spirit…I didn’t hesitate to snap one of these up on pre-order!
